Travelling To and From the City

Major roads will be closed to people driving and cycling on New Year’s Eve.
Pedestrian diversions are in place on New Year’s Eve. The way you arrive may be different to how you get home.

• Western distributor from Pyrmont Bridge Road
• Sydney Harbour Bridge
• Roads in Barangaroo
• Sussex Street, between Liverpool and Erskine streets
By 11pm – city centre – all roads north of Liverpool Street closed
Cycleways and walkways
• 8pm 31 December to 1:30am 1 January 2025
• Darling Drive cycleway, between Ultimo Road and Murray Street
